National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2023 the tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 173,4 thousand tourists and excursionists, or 22,1% more than in the corresponding period of 2022.

The increase of the number of tourists and excursionists was due to their growth in outbound tourism (+22,2%), domestic tourism (+11,1%) and inbound tourism (+58,6%).
